He is totally self-absorbed!

Hubby left me two months ago. Hasn't given me any money towards bills nor seems concerned about me or my girls. Saw him yesterday and he was crying and depressed, only talking about himself the whole time. Meanwhile we are losing the house, I am losing my car, and suffering. I endured his verbal/emotional abuse for months until he left. I read it is common for the bipolar person to stop caring about people and things he used to care about. Will he ever acknowledge what he has done to me? He blamed me for his condition, for his suicide attempt, for it all.
