I was first diagnosed with ADHD my freshman year of high school. Forced my parents to pay for a psychiatrist 2 years out of high school found out I had depression. After many drugs and a few more doctors, I got it pretty much down (not to say things don't change once and a while as reaction to drugs morph as well as new medications being available). Ever since then, my battle with my afflictions has been uphill but, somehow, successful. The most important thing I learned: Get help wherever I can, wherever it is being given no matter how big or small. Being proactive has made all the difference. Now, my experience with ADHD, Bipolar, Depression, Anxiety and very mild tourrette's have become things that have shaped me better. Treating one helps treat the rest. Not a day goes by that I can't believe how far I have come.
