After my first visit with my new doctor he changed my diagnosis to mood disorder unspecified. He said it wasn't that important what we call it anyway, how we go about treating it will be the same no matter what name we give it. That's all fine, it's just that's that's there's no "mood disorder unspecified connect" out here. I say that in half jest, I know I'm not going to be kicked out of the bipolar club, I'm not convinced we couldn't call it bipolar disorder anyway, and if he wants to tell my insurance company "unspecified" that's fine.
As for this moment I have an indisputable word for the past month's state "depression", I know what that is it. I know that it sucks, and I know (although I don't truly believe) that it will pass.
