...to catch you up on a few things in my life (and help me to establish a foundation from which to leap back into posting here again):
1) I recently moved from Albuquerque, New Mexico to Abilene, Texas. This is the smallest city I have lived in since leaving my hometown over a decade ago and will thus take some getting used to. :-)
2) I now work for a small biotech company, which I have found so far to be refreshingly different from the academic environments in which I previously worked. Given my employment situation with an industrial entity, I won't be talking about work-related details as I have in the past.
3) I still take 5 mg Abilify and 50 mg Zoloft daily and feel more stable (though in no manner zombified) than I ever have in my life. My former doctor will be terribly missed, but I have a first appointment with one here in Abilene on January 15th.
4) I have managed to adjust to a sleep schedule (during the work week) from 12:30 or 1:00am to 6:00am. Those of you who know me either in real life or are dear online buddies realize that I was never even close to something like this before.
5) I am once again a major coffee addict (about 5 cups a day), something I haven't indulged in with such fervor since the days I worked in Dallas. The new sleep schedule may have something to do with it. ;-)
