Thanks Becky, I will! I'm very impressed with the new layout here at BipolarConnect.com; it is incredibly user-friendly and inviting for all to use! Keep up the excellent work, I'm even going to do a plug for it on my "regular" blog soon!

    Best,

In high school my best friend and I were the mad hatter (me) and the march hare for a school play.  I have since enjoyed thinking of myself in this light; I also love Lewis Carroll immensely.  I appreciate you emphasizing one of the upsides of bpd, at least for me (lately I can't think of anything but the negatives.)  I have always been sure of my uniqueness and I know that is my well of creativity.  When I am too intense, one way or the other, I use writing to help empty me out or help pass the time.  I have discovered a little as I grow older that I am able to turn this self-absorbed creativity into sharable creativity--and that really excites me.

Last night I watched Bill Engvall's special on Com. Central and if you've seen it, you know that he likes to throw out unusual thoughts that pop into his head.  (no comment on his mental status!) He has a unique blend of everyday humor filled with bizarre tangents.  I thought I was going to pee my pants.  I like to think I also can add my fingerprint to the world--not in a sympathy-draining way, but as a welcome change from the humdrum.

    It's nice to be reassured--thanks!

I wish I had the presence of mind to know this before I killed so many brain cells over the years.  That mental overactivity is one of the main reasons I self-medicated so often.
