Recovery

By linky Saturday, March 03, 2007
Living with bipolar isn't easy. There's is no quick fix formula. However recovery is possible. I'm in recovery. It's a place I've looked for for a long time. It is a great place to be. I feel productive. I found positive challenges that don't feel insurmountable. I want other people with mood disorders to know that recovery is real!

Thank you for your post.  I would like to second that.  I have, a long-last, come to a point where I, too,  feel productive,  and feel that we are all here for a reason.
None of us are perfect,  we all have problems,  some physical,  some emotional,  some mental,  but we all have things to contribute.

Bi-Polar Illness may not be curable, but can certainly now be managed.  Aren't we lucky to be living in this day and age, when there are so many options to treat this destructive and frustrating illness?  I have lived with it and fought it for 40+ years, but finally am optimistic that I can "deal" with it.
