My dads an alcholic and he can be  real nasty the amount of things he has called me is behond counting. But it never stoped it hurting each time. But then i thought the best way was just to ignore what he has to say and get on with what i am doing. It hurts but don't let him get to you, is he really worth it if he is so nasty to you his own daughter. Besides how can he say about you when he has a drinking problem thats a problem in it's self, so he really can't be saying about you. 

Your not freak it's those that look at you like you are one that are the real freaks. They are ignarant. You are more then just bipolar. Bipolar is what you have it's not who you are it dosent define who you are.

Don't let the looks get to you either just give them the same look back. After all their the ones with the problems making out their perfect when they are far from it. Let that speek for it's self.

First, let me say that you are not crazy and you are  not alone.  Bipolar simply means being born with a lower content of some naturally produced chemicals in the brains.  Fortunately, today, there is treatment and people need not suffer, and can lead exceptionally fulfilling lives.  It's basically a disorder of our emotions, thus, mood swings occur left untreated. 

I know how bad it hurts to have a parent say terrible things to you and put you down, but, just know that that parent is the one with the issues and don't take it  personally.  Only sick people hurt other people....family or not.  And some are sicker than others. 

I recommend going to counseling to come to terms with bipolar and learn how to treat it and deal with your emotional well-being.  "No one can make you feel bad about yourself without your permission". Don't let anybody do that to you ever! Set your goals high and don't stop until you get there, and get all the help you need along the way because you are worth it =)
