I am a proud parent of a healthy baby girl born today.
Hello!
Congratulations!! I was so pleased to read about the birth of your baby girl. Have you figured out a name for her, yet? Is this your first child, or do you have other children?
I have one 16-year-old son. He is active in drama, speech and debate. He is addicted to video games, although he always does his homework before playing the games.
I remember, with nostalgia, the days of having a newborn in our house. It was a mixed blessing - long, sleepless nights, constant changing of diapers, tears being shed and on the other side, it feels like we had a miracle child. I breast fed my son for six months and then, finally, put him onto formula. The wonder of it all, really made an impression on me - that I would be responsible for the safety, good health, and other milestones that newborns experience.
I sincerely wish you (and your family?) a blessed and wonderful day. May God shine down upon your daughter and protect and keep her in his never-ending grace,
Warmly,
Char
Congrats on your daughter. As you will soon see there is a bond between father and daughter that nobody can touch. My 20 year old daughter is still a daddy's girl and still turns to him for comfort and hugs. Just love her. Know you're going to make mistakes. We all do. You are about to find out what true unconditional love means. No matter what she does or what mistakes she makes you will still love her more than anything else in the world. Keep the communication open with her and don't be afraid to say you're sorry if you do make a mistake. I'm sure you're feeling on top of the world right now. Treasure every moment. It goes much faster than you think. God Bless you and your new little family.
Congratulations, Chris! To both you and your wife.
