I have heard this can happen but, I am not expert. The best thing I think you can do is take your child for a diagnosis. This is a hereditary disease. Children with a parent with bipolar have a 15% chance or more to inherit this disorder. Here's another good site: http//about/cs/kids_diag/a/red_flags4.htm, copy and paste to your browser. I hope this helps.

Hi. Bipolar in children is something that some say happens and some say it isn't possible for a child to show sign's of bipolar. But i am a person who belives that a child can show signs of bp.

My cousin's eldist son was dignosed with bipolar and he is 10 years old. Neither her or her husband have it but it dose run in the family.

As you where dignosed with bp then it dose increase the possiblity.

Take you daughter to the doctor's and discuss it with them. Or just dicuse it with your doctor on your own at first.

They will be able to help and advise you.

If it should be the case that your daughter has bp, then it's not the end of the world. Remember she has a great mum to help and surport her every step of the way.

I wish you all the best.
