No one here can recommend meds.  Meds work differently on each person who takes them, much like Bipolar is different for each person that has it.

So, while a certain combo might work wonders for 1 person... that same combo would be likely most hideous for another and/or vice a versa.

If you are not doing well on your meds or, are having trouble with side effects from the meds... then talking with your pdoc about them would be best.  Let the doc know that you are struggling with the effects and would like something perhaps that does not cause those to occur or perhaps not so much.

Also, you've not been out of your last hospital stay very long and I am taking it that the meds you are on have not been but for a short time now.  It does take the meds quite a bit to get up in the blood stream and really start working.

I'm sorry you are struggling so with your "down" feeling but seriously, give your doc a call or when you see him/her at the next appointment just mention your concerns about your meds.  See if there is something else he/she could prescribe or perhaps add on or take away.  Fortunately, and unfortunately, there are many many many many meds out there for them to look at.

Have you been on the Lamictal long enough to be at full strength? I know it takes 5 or 6 weeks. Maybe once you're there, your doc could decrease theSeroquel which can make you tired. Finding the right med combo can take alot of trial and error. Some day maybe there'll be some easy test to know what the right meds are for a person.  Til then, hang in there!
