here we go again

By cynthia arceneaux Sunday, March 16, 2008
Well, it is 12:30am and I am breaking my own rule of no computer use during the night after 10pm. I can't seem to sleep, again. I don't know why this has been such an issue for so long. I've tried everything I can think of and more. I went into the hospital and got a med adjustment so that did help for a few days. I get plenty of exersize, two hours a day, and I read like crazy. I can read a book in about two days. I am an online student but I don't think that is the issue because I've been in school since Oct and this issue started in the middle of Jan. Anyone with any ideas please share i don't want to go manic and go into sychosis again. That is my biggest fear because at those time I do stupid stuff like ODing and disasociasion. PLEASE HELPCry

Look at the stressors in your life…it’s also a well know fact among us that increased stress can actually worsen our condition. School in itself can be a good stressor and if you are on the verge of flipping…it may be a good time to take a semester off. Try reducing the stressors and be open and honest with your pdoc of what is going on with you.

Eric, i have been honest with my pdoc. She didn't give a **** a couple of weeks ago, it was her last day on the job and her and I got in a fight the last visit so she just said to deal with it. If I don't sleep tonight, oh yea, i am having a sleep study done tonight so hopefully i will sleep, anyway if i don't i will try to call my new pdac tomorrow. Yea, school is a good stressor, right now i NEED it to feel like I am achomplishing something good in my life, not just hangin out on disability. Also, if I take time off my loans and even my grants will come due immediatly, lots of stress there. Thanks for the post. Well i'm off to church and won't be able to post till tomorrow because from church i am going to the library than to the hospital for the test, i have to take the city bus so i spend ALOT of time waiting and riding. i

ll let you know how it goes. Cynthia
