I am Annie and live on 7 isolated acres of Florida's North.

I am an alum and have a MFA in creative writing and music.

I am alone but bi polar does not define who I am.

I am sad today but outside my office I can see that I am a millionaire of leaves!

Annie...I loved your observation about the "leaves".  Sorry for you sadness, I am sorta' on the same page.  My love of nature has gotten me through many sad and depressed times - the healing power of the beauty of autumn, the soft feel of moss on a rock, the colorful sunset, etc.  Nature can heal like none other, if we just let it.  Thank you for getting me going- now I think I can go have a reasonable day........Judy

    Hi Annie,

Welcome to the nutter club. You talk of feeling alone on a secluded 7 acre plot of ground but the reality of it is that you’re never alone. With having access to this site you can talk by way of posting and responding to others here.

It’s funny the way the illness can affect us sometimes. I can remember at times, feeling alone in a crowd of people…isolating myself. There were times early in my recovery of not even wanting to have any conversations with people and praying to be where you’re at.

Do you have any gators running across those leaves? If you’re really bored you may want to talk with some of the people from Australia about getting into alligator wrestling as a past-time.

Welcome and you are never truly alone.  Your life sounds nice.  I want to live in the woods :( .  As long as I could leave my family in the city :).

Only for short periods of time,  I'm not sure they'd quite make it if I wasn't around to nag them.

I really loved your "millionaire of leaves!".  You sound to be very creative and intelligent.  I'd like to hear more of your entries.
