Hey its molly again. i am doing a research paper for my 9th grade class. i am doing it on manic depressive/bipolar disorder. i was wondering if ianyone could help me with it!
there are a couple of questions that i would love to ask anyone like an expert, someone who may be living with it or a friend or a faimly member of someone who has it.
i have a couple questions that i have in mind for my topic question.
- Should people be afraid or people with bipolar disorder?
- Should we research bipolar disorder and what causes it to help prevent it in the near future?
- Should we take controle when there is a manic or depressive episode taking place?
if you can awnser ANY of those questions for me that would be GREAT!
thanks again!

Your loved one is your loved one, with or without bipolar disorder. I've been afraid when my son is raging. I'm more afraid of what he'll do to himself then what he'll do to me. I do not try to reason with him when he's like that. I talk calmly to him for a few minutes and then leave him alone.
Research should be done to prevent this disorder. It wrecks lives and families. It can even be fatal if not treated properly.
If your loved one is out of control and a danger to himself or someone else either because of mania or depression, you have to take control of the situation by calling for help. In an episode, that person is not able to think reasonably and sometimes they need you to take charge.
