For 30 plus yrs. I have "suffered" with Bipolar Disorder. I have had three failed marriages, got addicted to drugs, and alcohol, and road the roller coaster of my life. Recently, after a suicide attempt, I was introduced to a group called Consumer Peer Support. I took a 6 mos. training class, during which time I discovered Hope, and realized my purpose. I now volunteer at the Mental Health Center Intensive Care unit, as a consumer peer specialist, I am going back to school, to pursue my dream of being a writer. Through the books I've read, and the training I have received, I have actuall become a very happy woman. unstoppable sThe most important thing I learned was how to control my thinking. Now I know I can do, be or have anything my hearts desire, because of my pirit. And I truely want others to know they do not have to suffer, they can live a meaningful, purposeful life.
