My son impulsively travelled from NJ to So Ca. I need help connecting him to at least a local MICA or dual diagnosis group. He was off meds I believe is back on but got a DUI and will have to attend AA meetings. Court date has not been scheduled yet However, I know that many AA groups discourage taking any meds and this is his problem - taking meds- more than drinking.Are there any groups in this area, 91911 zipcode, Chula Vista or Imperial Beach are that anyone knows of. I also need help with getiing him connected with SSI in Ca. He is on in NJ. IF anyone has any advice or thoughts I would appreciate it greatly. My heart is breaking everyday / he needs to connect with someone or some group of understanding souls. thank you. Catherine
