37 yr old son

I am at a loss as to how to handle my 37 year old son who has been diagnosed bipolar, but also abuses his prescription drugs and has become an alcoholic. Question is for what happens after an episode and they get back into there life.

Ok my wife 2 weeks ago had a major episode and felt she needed us to seperate.
