Total meds change, WOW what now?

I just started seeing a new Psychiatrist and is trying to stabilize my disorder (Bi-Polar) My first meeting went well, she placed me on 1000mg of Depakote, Amytriptalene,and Vistaril. I need some comments,ideas,hints about a first visit to the state's phsycologist for SSA

I have my first appointment for SSA, they have me going to a well known Phsycologist to examine me for my SSA application, Does anyone know what I should do,how to make my visit the most beneficial to my claim.. not sure what to do...
