Bi-polars tend to have friends/spouses/ex's who do not understand us, we need healthy support

Why is is that those who say they care about us the most, seem to want us to stay sisck? I hate it when people call me "demon oppressed"!

It happened again: some religious people said I am "demon oppressed" instead of having a mental illness! I HATE THIS SO MUCH! Has this happened to anyone else with BP? If so HOW do you DEAL with such IGNORANCE, even if it is well-meaning? Of course I don't believe them!
