self-injury

Often I get the urge to injure myself. I never draw blood; I just dig something into my skin until it hurts and makes a temporary mark, but without breaking the skin. I'm new here, lost, and having a terrible day

Did you take your meds? It's a question that I hear every single night. My usual answer: "Oh yeah. I will." Then I pull out my 7-day pill box and swallow down my med cocktail, consisting of six pills combining four different types of meds. I'm not crazy. I'm at a loss.....

I'm at a loss.  I've turned out to be a person that is sensitive to psych meds.  In the last year I've been on Li, Epival, Seroquel, Olanzapine, Risperidone, Lamotrigine.... and all but lamotrigine has caused side effects.  And in some cases a side effect or two from the "rare" list.  Right now, on Risperidone.. my blood... Read moreChevron

sharing of journal

Feb 25th 2009.  I found a few of my old journals and was shocked at what I wrote.  Or at what I read, take your pick.  They all have the same signs and symptons in them.  Not  taking med's as I should.  Not going to bed as I should.  Not eating, not bathing..etc, etc. One would think I could break this... Read moreChevron
