My Life Partner Also Has Bipolar

Is anyone out the familiar with being Bipolar AND having a mate who is also Bipolar?? Yes. It is difficult at times. In fact it is VERY difficult at times. I would love advice or ideas.

How to deal with the mania

My brother has just been diagnosed with bipolar disorder. Refuses to take meds. Has a wife and 3 children that he is walking away from. Has been having an affair, lost his job, about to lose his home. Tried to cancel all of the family's insurance. Disowned my mother.
