when is enough,enough

i,m not ing much these day's. i've been going through what seems to be the worse four mounths of my life. first it starts off bi-polar,then spirtual,then the hospital which was bizzare.they kept telling me i was a addict because i had adderal in my system .which the doctor put me on and sent me to another hospital.i get out and am stable again... How do you know when you're on the right medications? I've been diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder for over a year now and I've pretty much stayed on the same meds.
