Disordered sleep is one of the main symptoms of bipolar disorder. Trouble going to bed and oversleeping are both disorders in themselves. Signs of insomnia include dark, under-eye circles and fatigue. Some anti-depressant medications like Trazodone work as sedatives to help induce sleep.
