Can anyone give suggestions as to good meds to use to fight the depressive side of bipolar?

My 16yo daughter cannot take any of the anti depressants even though she's on lithium and lamictal. They send her into mania. We have recently tried Ritalin which helps with the concentration but doesn't lift the mood. Help
