It is what they call an analogue (chemically related) of Tegretol, and the Tegretol info is in the article. The Lexapro falls under SSRI antidepressants. Note, I'm not a doctor. I trust the article will ease your mind, but again your daughter needs to be talking to both her regular doc and her psychiatrist.
