The dose range of Geodon is usually 40-200 mg daily.  The interesting thing about Geodon is that at the higher dosages the less likely you are to get side effects!! It has been helpful for a lot of people.  It is not associated with weight gain; is approved for adults with bipolar disorder; is approved for children, but they need to check a baseline EKG;  has mood stabilizing properties; may be less sedating than other atypical anti-psychotics (not the case with me--I fell asleep while driving on Geodon & was so dizzy I had to get off it after 4 days but again, I was the exception rather than the rule).

Geodon at LOWER doses has anecdotally (sp?) been linked to increased aggression, but at the higher doses, again, the side effects are decreased.
