Q: I think he's bi=polar but he's a hypochondriac...

I am beginning to wonder if my husband is bi-polar II. He is very depressed and guilty feeling all the time and lately he gets very angry at me for little things all the time. He is a person who tends to latch on to any reason to blamme his problems on something or someone else. He can be a bit of a hypochondriac (sp?). I want to know if this may be what is wrong with him, but I'm afraid to suggest it, or he'll start saying he has it and use it as a way to not deal with his issues and continue to act angry and selfish all the time. What should I do?

I would approach him and say that YOU FEEL, don't tell him, say "I feel that you are very angry and unhappy lately.  Maybe we should see a therapist."  The therapist will be able to diagnose him without you ever mentioning it to him.  When you make the appointment tell the secretary to advise the therapist of your thoughts about bi polar so he can make an accurate assessment.

Good luck!  Let me know how you make out.
