Q: Seroquel and effexor taken together anyone else?

My docotr has put me on 200 mg of seroquel and 100 mg of effexor at night for my bi-polar. I dont feel much better than I did 2 years ago when I was put on them. Anyone have any help for me? Im at the end of my rope with this Bi-Polar stuff. I dont want to feel like this all the time. Ive gained 40 lbs. since these meds were prescribed to me. Now I cant sleep without them. Anybody have any suggestions? I am a 30 year old male working for Uncle Sam and just am fed up with this. Thank you in advance.
