how can i tell the difference between moods and bipolar in 18 yr old. uncle and cousin are bipolar.

I have a very moody 18 year old daughter how can i know if it is just regular mood swings or if she is bipolar. BEAR IN MIND that one of her uncles and wo of her cousins are bipolar.
