Q: How to cope with bi polar without medication, I also have 3 different anxiety disorders

I have tried vever single bipolar medication:antidepressant, mood stabilizer,  anti psychotics and anxiety medications like larazepan and clonazepam. I am now refusing to seek any psychiatric help as all the  help I get is a new presecription or hospitilization. I am a young of mother of two young children and need to be in control and not drugged up all the time. Sre there any tips on how to get through the rougher mood swings.

Hi, Ferlinghetti. There is strong evidence that stress underlies a lot of mental conditions, and the three anxiety diagnoses you have indicates that you are probably very vulnerable to stress.

Besides meds, there are various stress reduction techniques and mindfulness. For a thorough rundown of both, click the "Mange" tab above, then "Recovery/Wellness."
