Sounds pretty bad and sorry to hear it.  I think getting as much support as you can will help and also I find that taking fish oil pills (omega 3's) help me with depression.  Also, going to the walking track wards off depression and boostes self-esteem or a "feel good" hormone.  Try to keep around people and also to keep healthy snacks or no snacks in the house. I hope you have some friends.  Good Luck!  Susan

I agree with everything Susan wrote .... get some good support.  If you don't know where to start, contact your local hopsital public affairs dept.  They can tell you about the support groups they offer.  Get a therapist, if you can, for some good one-on-one therapy too.

I use positive affirmations.  I say them 3 times each at least 15 times a day, every day.  You can choose whatever statements are near and dear to you.  My affirmations are:  I am happy.  I am healthy.  I am safe and I am exactly where I am suppose to be.  Only good comes from my experiences today.

Good luck.  We're all cheering for you to be well from out here in cyberspace.
