I'm not a doctor, but I thought I might just give a little advice. I have never felt better than I have being on meds for my bipolar. Do you have a psychiatrist? If not, I would find one and talk to him about being medicated versus other things that you can do. Are you against taking medications? If so can I could ask why (you totally don't have to answer this question)? Bipolar is disease where the chemicals are off balance in your brain. I think most people with the disease need to have the meds to feel better. But I would definitely find a psychiatrist to talk to about it. And you could also find a counselor/therapist to talk to as well-they may be able to give you ideas beyond the medications! Good luck.
