Q: Is Neurontin a good medication to take for having bipolar 1?

Has any one out there tried the medication Neurontin???? If so please let me know how it effected you I know all medication effects people different but I was just wondering how this medication works for bipolar purposes. This is a form of seziure medication right? which means it stablizes the moods somehow..../??../??../?? ok well I guess one medication doesn't also work sometimes need a cocktail for people like me ha ha just looking for some answers out there anybody please commet What Neurontin is really about Thank you have a good week!!

Hi Sherry,

 

Neurontin is not approved for the treatment of bipolar disorder. The most common use of Neurontin is to treat nerve pain, though it can be used to treat a few other things. You can read more about Neurontin by clicking here. I hope this helps.
