My doctors have told me that I was born with BPII, tho they disagree over wheather it's hereditary or not and that it is in my DNA which makes me thjink I can pass it on to my kids.  My Mom says that probably explains why I was such a senstivie child and prone to temper tantrums.  My doctors also told me that this is something I will have to deal with all of my life .... just like a person with diabetes deals with that.  I  have to take medication to control the mood swings, the rapid thoughts and the suicidal tendancies forever unless they find a cure for BPII.
