Your Stomach pain may be something else and should be checked.  Though our stress being Bi Polar can cause uncomfortable knots, pain is not one of them.  I too suffer from pains in the stomach, but found out I at least have IBS, Diverticulitits, Gerd.  Make sure you are getting your blood work done with being on meds.  Make sure you tell your Dr. and Therapist.  I hope you can get some relief soon.

Good Luck

I too suffer Diverticulitis, IBS, GERD, and now they are testing me with other test as I been in pain and other problems since April 2.  Get checked out an Gastroenterology Doctor.  I have other health problems and take a lot of different meds.

Good Luck

The bipolar people I know are celiac (can't eat dairy or gluten). I am celiac and bipolar. Celiac destroys the gut lining of the person so they don't digest or absorb vitamins. I take Osteoprocare instead of dairy and organic brown rice instead of gluten. Doctors are not trained in celiac and the blood tests/biospies don't work half of the time to diagnose it. www.enterolab.com stool sample and cheek genetic test help to diagnose it. IBS/lactose intolerance, ulcers, etc are from celiac.

Had my meds tweaked about 4 weeks ago.  Got really stressed out and started bipolar rpaid cycling.  With all that came BAD stomach pains ... stomach (right where my ribs separate) not lower GI.  HMO Dr. thought it was gal bladder.  Speacialist wasn't so sure.  She gave me a dozen samples of Prilosac (over the counter acid reducer).  Told me to take it for 7 days, go off and if nothing returned, have a nice life.  It worked like a charm!
