Your mother's lawyer needs to know all the facts regarding her bipolar disorder. Ask the lawyer about his or her experience with psychiatric cases, and if you aren't satisfied, shop around for a better one. Also ask the lawyer about calling in a forensic psychiatrist to assist in her defense. Good luck!
