Q: I have an 8 year old daughter who's mother is my exwife The ex admitted to being diagnosed as bi-polar after the custody battle. Now I see my daughter has been affected is there anyone I cantalk to?
So much more detail, my ex is usually always asking me to take my daughter, I have her far more than the court issued custody order from 5 - 6 years ago. Her school is about 18 miles from me , near mothers home , but my spouse and/or myself never miss an opportunity to get Athena. This is all fine however at least 2 - 4 times a year my ex wife , for the last 6 years, has some sort of problem with me that there is no remedy for and she totally cuts off all communication with my daughter and myself, no phone , no nothing. Creates major anxiety for me. Well about a month ago my little girl had a major emotional meltdown, it came totally as a surprise out of the blue. I was up with her till 4 am and it was so sad because she really thinks the world is so against her, she is so confused. Everythingh she was speaking of was subject matter she got from her mother. Her mother is dangerous and so cunning I have or thought I had given up ever trying to get the situatioin changed. Now it's been 3 weeks since my daughter has been over after spending nearly 2 thirds of every month with us. I am told by my ex the reason is I showed up too late to pick up Athena one night, it wasn't scheduled, it doesn't make sense at all but I now know my little girl is hurting inside and I feel it would be very cold and in humane if I did not try to get something changed in the court. Here is the real kicker, I deputy dropped off an order of protection to me the other night so I can't even call my daughter now or I will be arrested. My ex wife has done the order of protection thing 3 times in past , every time she was denied by the judge and last time he warned her not to try it again, we'll see if that matters , who can help, is there anyone, I am at the end of my rope here, this situation makes me feel hopeless for the world because it is so obvious and yet the courts and the ervaluator sided with her based on lies total obvious lies. I just want my little girl to be okay and I am worried about her and how she be affected for the future. adam V. 312 388 8098 or 847 361 7113
