Q: I've been on my meds for 3 years and I seem to be getting worse. Can meds make bi-polar disorder worse

Hi,

 

It's hard to get the right meds in the begining but the answer is yes. They can make us feel worse if they are not the right one's.

It's importante to go to your pdoc and ask new meds or understand why those are not herlping. I still take the one's 1st prescribed to me and they do the work just fine.

Don't take so much time to understand that the meds are not right for you. You can wait until a month to be sure they are good for you if not you have to tell your doctor.
