Hi Kristal26,  It is very hard to do anything when you are in a depressive state.  Much easier when your in a manic state.  But it seems that when we are stable, I feel stuck.

You have to be your own person to help yourself.  You need to learn the DBT skills and the other coping skills, take your meds, and get a good therapist.  Count on the people who love and care about you, who knows what is going on.  Educate them as much as possible.  I have more support from my friends then my family.  They know what it is, but have a harder time knowing HOW to cope with a love one.  If you don't take action to learn how to deal with it yourself.  You could possible miss out in life and make things harder with relationships.

Good Luck and God Bless
