My husband's pdoc is going to slowly reduce my husbands dosage of depakote. He is currently on 1500MG which he takes every night around 9pm. He is going to try a dosage of 1000MG and then after a couple of months if no problems or episodes or symptoms hopefully 500MB. What is the minimum dosage that has worked for you?

500 mg has worked good for me it has evened me out enough where my bipolar doesnt effect my day but 1000mg works great but everyones bipolar is different.
