Q: What if employer's will not make accomodations?

I was diaganosed with bipolar/anxiety disorder in November of 09.  Much on my anxiety was triggered by my employer creating stressful situations in meetings.  I made him and my HR director aware of my disorder, and asked that reasonable accomodations be made; ie; not setting up a meeting for a Monday on a Friday (as I have anxiety all week-end over the meeting) or allowing a meeting to continue if an axiety attack occurred.  I am a teacher, and my principal's were using hostile tactics when dealing with desagreements regarding policy.  I have taught at this school for 13 years with only stellar yearly reviews.  These administrators rule with a heavy hand, and have created a highly stressful work enviornment.

Just last Friday, there was a disagreement between I and a collegue, a disagreement that if feel should not have to include the adminstration, but this collegue felt it necessary to involve them.  I was sent a meeting notice for this Monday, at the end of the school day.  This has caused great anxiety for me this week-end, but I am not allowed to refuse the meeting.

What are my rights regarding this?

Thanks for an input

Karen
