I despise my psychiatrist because she will not listen so she increases my medication. What other information can you give me which will cure my illness?

Hi, Lee. It would take me a week to answer this, so why don't we stick to one salient point: You are highly dissatisfied with your psychiatrist. So, do not hesitate in firing him or her and seeking out another. We do this all the time with our hairdressers. The inside of your skull is a lot more important than the outside. Find a psychiatrist who listens, one you can build a trusting relationship with. Once that happens, the other pieces will fall into place.
