I had this problem with my family. I started trying to hide it or not talk about it . Then I realized that trying to hide it was only making me more miserable. So I finally told them "this is what 32 I have, this is what several doctors have all said and agreed about, this is part of who I am, like it or not". If they tried to tell me it was 'all in my head' I would reply 'exaclty, now you get it.' Of course, I have my hubby backing me, so I do have some support. When I was finally adament that they either understand or leave it alone, a few have started being more understanding.
Good luck and I hope things go well for you!
