Q: Is drowsiness a side effect if I stop taking Lamotrigine suddenly?

I've been on Lamotrigine for about a year, and stopped taking it abruptly a couple days ago. Since then, I've been feeling extremely drowsy, especially in the morning. I'm wondering if this is a side effect of stopping treatment suddenly, or if maybe it's due to something else?

It could be a side effect. Stopping abruptly is not a good idea. If the drowsiness went away after awhile, it probably was.
