Q: Husband possibly misdiagnosed?

My husband's main dr. sent him for psyc. testing to make sure his symptoms weren't alzheimer's related and this dr. seems to think he was misdiagnosed as bp and is really depressed with something called exploxive rage episodes.  Help!

Hi, If I were you I'd go for a 2nd opinion from another Pdoc. This is a serious thing either way, and you want to make sure, and get the correct diagnosis. Hope everything works out for you both.

I have a friend that was misdiagnosed and they found out through a brain scan ,because of a car accident. His girl friend told him he was bipolar because he was angry at her all the time and a doctor agreed. The the accident revealed the truth he was not bipolar and doctor can be wrong a. They took him off the med's Also a girl was diagnosed bipolar and she has side effect from another medication that sound just like bipolar symptoms.
