Perhaps for the reason(s) you stated in your question. If you have only just been placed on medication it may be due to a 'settling in' response. Your body will need a little time to adapt to the change and for the medication to take hold and establish a therapeutic effect. If of course the symptoms are distressing you should revisit your doctor. Unlike aspirin that can be effective in moments, meds for moods take time to establish, although you may feel some effects (sleepiness etc) more quickly.
