when I was a kid my dentist through a needle across the room and ever since I have been terrified.  I could do surgery on myself if I had to but I am still scared of the dentist.  I will tell you though at 32 I was fitted for a complete upper denture and on the bottom I have 3 bridges.  My advice is go to the dentist and sweat it out you don't want dentures.  I go now for my bottom teeth and I find if I go when I have had a not much sleep the night before it is easier because I have actually fell asleep in the chair.  Dentures Suck!!!!

i hate the dentist, terrified of him, why, no logicla reason, just totally a mess when i get near the office, but let me tell you..you teeth and your mouth are the passage to all your insides.infections in your mouth can cause heart problems. all kinds of stuff you cant imagine. talk to your doc- they can give you a sedative to take before you go, that is the only way i can get through my appointment, i have beautiful teeth, and i have not such beautiful teeth..you want the nice teeth..take something to relax you and go to the dentist.
