I would find another psychiatrist and get a second opinion....and even a third opinion if it makes you feel better.  I don't think I would start reading on the internet to decide because you don't know how credible the information is.  Try and research the doctor or doctors you have seen to see their credentials, or you could even try going through a doctor referral service that are available through your insurance company or local hospitals.
