Q: how do we convclearince our son to seek help with bipolar-symptoms are clear

He has anger, depression-heavy mood swings- denial-becoming more agressive-says life not worth living, has seen many physiologists and leaves after 3 or less sessions. left job, family, had affair, guilt, seriously accumulated large debt. good moods he is regretful-bad moods he doesn't have memory of regrets. He is 39 years old.

He has a stong family support system but will not seek help. How do we reach him?

We have tried for years but this past year he has crashed hard.

I completely sympathize with your frustration and pain, you sound like wonderful, caring parents but from what I have seen over the years, you cannot "make" someone comply with psychiatric treatment except in limited circumstances. Even when someone openly threatens their own life or another's you can usually only get them taken to the psych ward for 48/72 hours depending on the state. Now if the doctor there sees a problem they can keep someone for treatment. But it sounds like your son is functioning to some extent in society...I am sorry, I do not feel like I am being very helpful. It is a huge problem, people not realizing that they could probably be helped by  psychiatric or psychological care, in the books they call it lack of insight. God bless you, and remember to take care of yourself.
