Q: is there any insurace policy that accepts bipolar disorder?

I have bipolare disorder and have switched jobs here in florida. now i have to obtain my own indiv health insurance but no insurance co. will accept me. I am currently on lamictal and can not afford it without insurance. I dont know what to do or where to go from here...

Breana...There are probably lots of insurance comapnies that cover bipolar.  I have a policy with Blue Cross Blue Shield.  The coverage is pretty good.  My psychdoc visits are $15 and so are my theapist visits.  Hospitalization is covered for the most part.  Coverage varys from state to state, but overall Blue Cross is a reputable company.
