What medication helps the best with bipolar nos?

I am cycling so much, as many as 4 times a day, I just want to know what meds and side effects of the meds. This is driving me and my wife crazy, she is at the point she doesn't want to hear it anymore so I just lock up and get quiet and don't sleep or eat,this has been going on for about 4 days...
